Medium Intensity Exercises for Thyroid

Exercising is not only about looking good. It also helps all the vital processes in your body. If you dedicate yourself to exercising  at least 15 minutes a day, you increase your vitality and optimize your body functions, hormonal function in particular.
What is the reason behind this phenomenon? Well, moderate exercising launches all the necessary hormones to the places they need to reach and transports all the toxins away without producing any fatigue.

I am so ready and hyped for today’s workout. If you suffer from an underactive thyroid you might be dealing with symptoms like achy joints, anxiety, fatigue, and muscle pain.

The good news is that working out may help with all or some of those symptoms. Additionally, medium intensity workouts, for patients already undergoing treatment for hypothyroidism, can actually help increase T3 and T4. You can find out more here.

Today’s workout aims to get your heart rate to 70% of your maximum heart rate and will work your deep core, your arms, your legs, and… it’ll get your heart rate up and face glistening.

You’ll need a chair, coffee table, or a stool – anything you can step upon.

Now Let’s go over the 4 exercises. We will perform 8 repetitions for each exercise and then go through the circuit 3 more times, a tad faster.

Ok let’s check it out:

  • Exercise 1 side hop one round
  • Exercise 2 walk your plank
  • Exercise 3 elevated push-ups
  • Exercise 4 spider plank

This workout is to be performed with little to no breaks, so you’ll be sure to get your sweat on and heart rate up.
