Fish Stew

 

 

This is a delicious dish for a cold night or a light meal on any day of the week! It’s a light, one-pan dish that’s satisfying and packed with nutrients. You can have it with side dishes like steamed vegetables and roasted sweet potatoes for additional fiber to your diet. Fresh wild COD is the star of this one-pan yummy dish. Ingredients

1. Wild cod

2. Salt

3. Pepper

4. Avocado oil

5. Yellow Onion

6. Garlic

7. Paprika

8. Yellow Chile

9. Crushed Tomatoes

10. Pepper

11. White Semi Sweet Wine

12. Fish Broth

13. Coconut Aminos

14. Bay Leaf

How to Make Fish Stew

  1. Cut the fish into big pieces and season lightly with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat avocado oil over medium heat. Add the diced yellow onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, paprika, and yellow Chile, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, semi-sweet white wine, fish broth, coconut aminos, and bay leaf. Add salt and pepper. Stir everything together, and allow to simmer for 3o minutes.
  5. Add the fish pieces and cook at low heat until the fish is done.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve warm. Enjoy your flavorful fish stew!
